Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) is a system Where the circuit in which the video is transmitted is closed and all the elements(camera, display monitors and recording devices) are directly connected. It is a TV system in which signals are not publicly distributed but not monitored, primarily for surveillance and security purposes. CCTV relies on strategic placement of cameras, and observation on the camera’s input on monitors somewhere.
